My husband is retired military. My prior colonoscopies were performed at military hospitals, but now that we are Medicare eligible, we must seek civilian care. I was referred to another physician at the Gastroenterology Clinic of San Antonio. However, when I visited the clinic's website, I saw the name of a female gastroenterologist, Dr. Allison Sirakos - I was delighted - who better, in my opinion, to understand a woman's body and the medical issues she faces. Dr. Sirakos and her team at the San Antonio Endoscopy Center were kind, respectful, efficient and thorough. The entire procedure was explained from the time I made my initial appointment until I underwent the colonoscopy. I would recommend Dr. Sirakos to anyone needing a colonoscopy.

Everyone - from the front desk receptionist…the prep nurse…the anesthesiologist…the nurse and tech in the procedure…the recovery nurse…and Dr Sirakos - they were all very sweet, respectful, and informative. I arrived 30 minutes early website says 2 hour 1st visit but I was back to my car 15 minutes after my appointment started. I was extremely impressed with everyone. Dr Harrington was super sweet and informative very happy with her care!
